The clarinet player

Photo ref PMP. Painted in sun triad watercolors. Painted with a limited palette of only 3 primaries is challenging and is very useful to learn color mixing. I have yet to learn a lot!

Color test

Medium/ Sun triad with New Gamboge, Permanent rose and French ultramarine.
Bold/ Strong with Winsor yellow, Alizarin crimson  and Winsor blue (red shade).

A small sketch testing the triads-- Sun triad really gives a sunny feel where as the bold triad brings intense and strong colors.
